Built in the early 1800's the Colwyn Hotel is a grade B listed building situated in the heart of Aberdeen. The Colwyn is a short walk from Aberdeen Bus and Rail Station and only a 20 minute drive from Aberdeen's International Airport. The Hotel is privately run by resident proprietors Susan and John Beard whose aim is to make your stay, however long or short, an enjoyable one. There are 19 bedrooms in all, all having colour television, tea/coffee making facilities and central heating. Many of our rooms also have en-suite bathroom facilities. For your relaxation the hotel has a licensed resident's bar with a choice of wines, spirits and draught beers. We can also provide evening meals with a good choice of home cooking. Within Aberdeen you will find various leisure activities expected of a major city. His Majesty's Theatre, Music Hall, Art Gallery, Maritime Museum, beach-side leisure and ice skating complex, to name but a few. Aberdeen is also the gateway to Royal Deeside with its resplendent Balmoral Castle and traditional Scottish sporting facilities. It is also the starting point for the unique Malt Whisky Trail and Castle Trail. Trips to either are available from the bus station. |
